RFHEE operates guided by a five-year research plan to inform the public and possible researchers about the issues and hypotheses of interest to RFHEE. The FY 2002-07 Research Plan outlines the five programmatic areas of interest and identifies some objectives and hypotheses that guide RFHEE's yearly strategic and budgetary processes. All research sponsored by RFHEE focuses on well designed, hypothesis testing projects whose findings can contribute to the current public policy and decision-making discussions.
